- A Brief HISTORY OF -

After calling B.C, Canada home for over a decade Simon Marks discovered his love of song-writing upon returning to Australia in his early thirties. Beginning his career with an unexpected invite to perform as part of the West Coast Blues & Roots Festival (having lived as a fisherman, baker and off-shore sailor beforehand) he has since performed hundreds of shows touring both domestically and abroad.

With a much loved catalogue of works from his 6 independent releases, including collaborations with some of Australia’s finest musicians including Ben Franz (The Waifs), Syd Green (Kasey Chambers) and Angus Digs (Jeff Lang) Simon has gone on to sell over 10,000 albums along the way.

Weather performing solo or accompanied by members of his band ‘The Confluence’ Simon Marks is nothing if not adaptable as he shares with audiences a show that is sometimes sad, often funny, though always entertaining and a true joy to be part of and experienced at least once in your lifetime.
